Classes consist of discussion, translation, collaborative and independent work with varied class activities. Quarterly projects based on student interest to supplemental Latin texts; participation in discussion and mini presentations to prepare for AP coursework next year, cultural events.Quarterly projects to complement the AP curriculum; advanced interactive class discussions, research, oral presentations, other AP activities and practice, cultural events.
Less demanding/ reduced assessments including projects and oral presentations. Tests and quizzes will introduce AP skills to prepare students for AP coursework next year.  Higher demand/ longer assessments to develop translating and analytic skills for AP exam success, focusing on AP-style questions, including essays.
