- Answer: Summer School information is usually published very shortly after the new year. For more information about FCPS Summer Programs PLEASE VISIT HERE.
- Question: How does Summer Driver's Education work?
- Answer: Summer School information is usually published very shortly after the new year. For more information about FCPS Summer Programs PLEASE VISIT HERE.
- Question: If you take Health/Physical Education over the summer, do you meet your driver's ed requirements?
- Answer: Per FCPS Online Campus: "The Classroom Driver Education unit is included in Health and Physical Education 10. There is no need to register for any other Classroom Driver Education while taking Online Summer School HPE-10. " If you take Health and Physical Education 10 through Virtual Virginia, Driver Education is not included and you would be responsible for getting Driver Education on your own. Classroom driver education is offered through Adult and Community Education (ACE) in the summer. The Virginia Driver Education and Traffic Safety Course (VADETS) provides another option.
- Question: Can I take Geosystems during summer and free up one science slot in senior year to take a non-science elective such as Anthropology?
- Answer: No
- Question Can I take a summer class from a non-FCPS program?
- Answer: Some courses are permitted, however you must seek approval from the Director of Student Services to ensure that the class and program are verified for transfer credit to TJHSST. Please submit this form to request permission to earn summer school credit for programs outside of FCPS. (Students may only enroll in one course for transfer credit for advancement purposes during the summer. The only exception to this is Self-Directed Economics and Personal Finance, which can be taken alongside another summer course for transfer credit.)
