Students needing accommodations for the ACT or any College Board exam should contact their counselor or our SSD Coordinator for more information. The process for requesting accommodations is lengthy so please plan in advance of testing day, preferably 8 weeks prior.

College Board Exams
Approved College Board accommodations will work for all College Board exams, so there is no need to apply for each type of exam.
If you are requesting accommodations, please complete and return this form. Please include all requested documents and return to our SSD Coordinator.
School-Based SAT Accommodations Testing Dates for TJHSST:
For those students approved for special, School-Based accommodations, TJHSST will host four SAT testing dates each year (2 in the fall, 2 in the spring). If you are signing up for a test that falls outside these dates, and require School-Based accommodations, you will be responsible for finding an alternative testing facility. All school-based testing will occur during school hours the week following the National Test Date listed below. If a student is signed up for School-Based Testing for one of the dates below, you will need to contact the SSD Coordinator to schedule the specific day(s) and time(s).
2021-2022 TJHSST School-Based Testing Dates:
- August 28th (Alternate window): September 17-23
- November 6th: November 8-12
- March 12th: March 14-18
- June 4th: June 6-10
ACT Exams
There is a one time application to get approved for accommodations with ACT. However, each time a student registers for an ACT exam, they will need to request the accommodations.
