Regeneron Science Talent Search 2018 Finalists

Today, the Regeneron Science Talent Search announced the Top 40 Finalists chosen from the Top 300 scholars. 

Kavya Kopparapu

  • GlioVision: A Platform for the Automatic Assessment of Glioblastoma Tumor Features, Molecular Identity, and Gene Methylation from Histopathological Images Using Deep Learning

Mihir Patel

  • Automating Limb Volume Measurements of Lymphedema Patients Through Computer Vision

Franklyn Wang

  • Monodromy Groups of Indecomposable Rational Functions

The finalists are invited to Washington, D.C. in March to undergo final judging, display their work to the public, meet with notable scientists, and compete for $1.8 million in awards. Each finalist will receive a minimum $25,000 award, with a top award of $250,000.
